Hi All,
This will be the last update on our outside mens' comps.
We beat Sawbridgeworth in the 1st round of the Ranson Cup by one shot overall, but went out
to Whithern in the 2nd round by 5 shots.
In the Thurgood semi final at Ware (2 rinks), we came up against Whithern and beat them convincingly
on both rinks 22-13 & 22-16. The final is at Bishops Stortford on Association finals day.
In the Scott Blain Trophy the team had a great win at home to Cockfosters in the 1st round, winning on all
rinks. This was followed up by a home win against Potters bar in the 2nd round, winning by 3 rinks to 1. We
then faced a side from Bounds Green in the semi final, at home again, and came away with another 3 rinks
to 1 victory. The final will be at Rosedale BC on Sunday 28th August. Our opponents will be either Whithern
or Holtwhites.
Well done to all those who've taken part, helped out and supported during the various games this season.
