Social Events for Winter 2024/25
HCBC PRESENTATION EVENING
Saturday 30th November 2024
Start 6.00pm
A splendid buffet meal followed by the presentation of this season's trophies to all our club competition winners. The menu is a selection of meats: cold turkey, gammon ham, beef; poached salmon; gala pie; vegetarian quiches. All served with a salad selection and hot new potatoes. To follow: lemon tart, profiteroles with chocolate sauce and cheese and biscuits.
Bingo Night

Start: 7.00pm
Eyes down for your winning line or house! The cost is £5, which includes 1 book of tickets, 1 strip of raffle tickets and a hot-dog supper. Extra tickets will be available at £1 per strip. If you can please donate a raffle prize on the night.
Christmas Jumper Night

Start 7.00pm
A chance to wear your most outrageous Xmas jumpers!
Enjoy an evening with friends and fellow bowlers to wish them a Merry Christmas, whilst enjoying a finger buffet and drinks. All we ask is that you come (with or without a Xmas jumper) and bring a raffle prize for the Christmas gift tub, plus a little Ho Ho Ho!!!
Taskmaster
Saturday 11th January 2025
Start: 7.00pm
Doors open at 7.00pm and the cost is £5 per head. This includes a supper of jacket potato with cheese and/or beans. Come and see if you can beat the Taskmasters (only they know what's in store!!). Fun for everyone, all abilities. Please bring a raffle prize if you can.
Race Night

Always a very popular night, come and see if you can beat the Tote. The cost is £3, which includes a Cornish Pasty supper. Please donate a raffle prize on the night if you can.
Homework for Adults

Start: 7.00pm
See if you can beat the Head Mistress, or will you go home with a report that reads "could do better"!!
Cost is £5 per head, which includes soup and a roll supper. Please donate a raffle prize on the night if you can.

Pre-season Get Together

Start: 7.00pm
An evening to meet up with fellow members before the new season gets underway, and renew memberships, renew Bonus Ball entry and hand in 2025 competition forms.
These events have been organized by your social committee: Audrey Crowther, Pauline Scholey, Viv Arber, Vera Jones, Lin Atherton, Di Kent and Mary Phillips.
Please support our winter social events, they are our main source of income and as such everyone benefits from their success. It's good to get together in the winter months and share some laughs.
