Hi All,
The above match was played this morning at Broomfield in Palmers green against Holtwhites, a team from Enfield.
Although the weather wasn't particularly great, with showers coming and going throughout,
the match was played on a good green.
We had a win in the singles rink, followed by another in the pairs. With the fours well down on their rink
it fell to the triples to try to secure at least a draw, as losing would have certainly meant us losing by shots overall.
Going into the last end they were one shot up, and they secured victory with a shot in that end.
We therefore won by 3 rinks to 1, the first time that the club has won this trophy!
Well done to all those who have taken part in all of the rounds.
